Russell Goldsmith

Russell has been involved in online marketing since '95 when he joined software house Harlequin and set up their website that enabled clients to purchase their software over the Internet via a secure e-commerce platform (long before most people had bought a book off Amazon!). In '96 he moved to Foresight Media where he was Business Development Director overseeing the web presence of clients such as BBC Radio 2, Oracle, and Sun Microsystems. He joined up with Howard in '98 when he became Joint MD of 4DC which merged with The Market Tiers in '00, when Russell assumed the role of Digital Media Director. He regularly lectures on media convergence and brand funded programming at conferences and seminars and his first book, 'Viral marketing: make people your willing advocates' was published by Prentice Hall.
